After a long winter here, on the East Coast, I decided to herald the arrival of spring by purchasing Kat Burki’s Lavender Lightly Body Crème.
While Kat just opened a store in Connecticut this past March, I ordered online at www.katburki.com. The online site has categories to browse the many elegant and beautiful looking items – everything from women’s clothing and jewelry, to gifts for the home. My purchase was from the Body and Bath Collection. All of the beauty products are completely natural. The crèmes are made with organic ingredients and, as is a requirement of my purchasing any item, cruelty free.
The fragrances include tuberose, cacao, eucalyptus & verbena, eau de poire, sugar magnolia, rosa baroque, avocado & cucumber, white tea, freesia & pink grapefruit, and my choice for review, lavender lightly.
The package came expertly wrapped for shipping. Great customer service to have bubble wrap lining the inside of the shipping box and additional bubble wrap around the beautiful lavender colored print box. In addition, enclosed in a Kat Burki envelope was a stylish note card which read:
What a nice touch!
Even before I opened the box to reveal the 6 ounce double-walled glass jar with gold foil writing, I anticipated being treated to something special. I was not disappointed! It was rich and creamy and soaked right into my skin leaving it feeling very soft. Even though I know I applied it with a heavy hand because it was such a wonderful indulgence, and of course, for testing purposes, it did not feel greasy. The lavender scent is aptly named, lightly, as it is beautifully scented, not overpowering.
All of Kat Burki’s Cremès are available in both a 6 oz. glass jar ($52), and a 2 oz. size container ($15) at Kat Burki’s Westport, CT store, and at www.katburki.com
